In this lecture/workshop you get an introduction to academic writing. We discuss general features of aca­demic writing and different text types. The lecture also covers the writing process, how to get started on a written assignment and what could influence the finished text.

Note! This is a generic session for all interested students at UB. Some programmes also have integrated sessions on academic language in their syllabus. Contents might be overlapping.
