The lecture hall “Parlamentet” has been renovated into a modern ALC lecture hall

The hall has been developed as part of the future learning environments initiative, with staff from various parts of the organisation contributing ideas on its design, including from Akademiska Hus, Campus Facilities and Sustainability Office, the faculties, the HUF, the library and the student union.

The hall is quiet, airy, with adjustable lighting, large TV screens, and camera control. New features include both ALC mode and ALC hybrid mode. It can also be used for regular lectures.

As part of the university's sustainability efforts, the panels from the walls of the former lecture hall have been reused.

The hall will be available for booking from 26 August, and during the autumn, EduTech will invite sessions on the technology and usage of the hall.
