The Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business conducts research and education in the field of textiles (in design, management, and technology), resource recovery, business administration, industrial engineering and management, and building technology, and also houses the Centre for Sustainable Society Development and the Centre for Digitalisation. The Swedish School of Textiles is also a part of this Faculty.

The Faculty of Caring Science, Work Life and Social Welfare conducts education and research in caring science, healthcare administration, human work science, and public administration. Also part of the Faculty is R&D Sjuhärad Welfare, a centre for research and development within the welfare area. Furthermore, the Faculty is home to the Centre for Welfare Studies and PreHospen – Centre for Prehospital Research.

Faculty of Police Work

The Faculty of Police Work runs the Police Education Programme, a contract educational programme given on behalf of the Swedish Police Authority, and the Bachelor’s Programme in Police Work with a Specialisation in Criminal Investigation.
