During a period of four years (2013-2017), the University of Borås has been involved in a large Integrated Project funded by the European Union under its Seventh Framework Programme (ICT Call 9) called PERICLES. As part of that, a number of colleagues at HB have been involved in research, produced publications, developed research-based tools, participated and or organised different events, and have led the activities in one of four different communities of practice. Another team has led the training activities within the project. This has involved designing and putting in place structures for different training outputs, collaborating with project partners in organising and attending different training events, and developing multiple training materials and courses.

The aim of this web-page is twofold. It is intended to: 

  1. present the contributions made by the HB team to the project 
  2. form a hub that will host most of the outcomes from the PERICLES-Training efforts in order to facilitate access and longer-term continued use.

Accordingly, the contents that can be found at this website include:

  • Description of the PERICLES project
  • Members of the research and training teams at HB
  • Publications produced by the HB team members
  • The Tools that have been developed by the HB members
  • A report on PERICLES Training Work Package outputs 
  • Description of, and a report on, the PERICLES PhD course and its contents
  • Description of workshops and events organised by HB and other PERICLES partner organisations 
  • Presentation of the PERICLES MOOC
  • The PERICLES Modular Training Package
  • Report on the different feedback and evaluations of the training efforts.
