The project aims to develop a better understanding of how research quality and societal impact of energy systems research can be described and assessed, with a particular focus on its contribution to sustainable transitions. This includes understanding how research affects different aspects of transitions, from scientific advances and innovations, to changes in individuals' behaviour, policy making and organisational direction.

Being pregnant, giving birth, becoming a parent and breastfeeding are life-changing events that evoke existential questions and needs. Such are meaningful for the woman and the partner in the context they are in. This means that the body changes, that the woman leaves the life she is used to or that life changes. Existential questions and needs concern human existence and means thinking about what the meaning of life is and how the new existence as a mother or father will be.

Infections by bacteria that cannot be treated with common medicines are increasing (multi-resistant bacteria). This problem can be solved by making the treatment area safer; through antibacterial sheets, curtains and other textiles.
