Caring for worldviews in early childhood education

The aim is to contribute to the up to now under-researched area of diversity of religions and worldviews in relation to social sustainability work in ECEC.

Multilingual classrooms in the schools of Växjö (Fläx)

Students' opportunities to learn increase if their teachers design a teaching where both language and knowledge content in the school subjects are focused and can be developed in parallel. In addition, multilingual students' learning is promoted if they are given the opportunity to use their different languages as resources in language, knowledge and identity development.

Digital Inkjet Printing of Enzymes on Synthetic Textile Surfaces

This project aims to modify synthetic textile surfaces to digitally print enzymes on them for novel applications such as anti-microbial, controlled‐release and bio‐sensing textiles.

ADDTEX

ADDTEX project aims to bring together enterprises, clusters, higher education institutions (HEI) and vocational education and training (VET) providers from the technical textiles sector to work together in partnership, cooperating and fostering innovation and digital and green skills as a common goal. These skills are essential for the future of European socioeconomic textile environment and therefore need to be disseminated among the main players in the chain, from students to companies, creating an upskilling flow of knowledge.

Object-oriented selective demolishing for circular economy and reduced climate impact

In Sweden, about 10 million tons of mineral demolition waste occurs every year, but the level of reuse or recycling is very low. Since the technology exists, this is rather due to factors such as unclear regulations, lack of guidelines for the procurement of secondary materials and also because the disposal of these materials involves costly processes.

In this project, we want at an early stage combine the technical textile industry's need for new climate-smart and resource efficient materials with applied research on how to make better use of residual flows from the food industry.

Using scaffolds/membranes for a better CO2 fixation by algae

In this project, we propose three different systems, to improve the utilization and fixation of CO2 from CO2-rich gas streams and at the same time produce algal biomass, which can be further processed into useful products. The possibility of using scaffolds such as fungal biomass, raschig rings, or glass bead to improve CO2 fixation has to the best of our knowledge, not been studied before.
