Start date: 2017-01-01
End date: 2021-12-31
This PhD project explores one of these changes, namely the introduction of subscription-services for digital audiobooks. The aim of this thesis is to contribute to the understanding of young adults' reading practices of subscription-based audiobooks. A particular emphasis is placed on temporal and spatial aspects of their reading, as the use of subscription-based audiobooks offers a different mobility compared to traditional book reading.
