New partnership with Drive Sweden
A partnership agreement has been signed between the University of Borås and Drive Sweden. Jonas Waidringer, Director of the Centre for Digitalisation, is the university's contact person. By being a partner in Drive Sweden, the University of Borås is expected to increase its contacts and contribute knowledge in the field and be able to take part in future research focus.
Drive Sweden is a Strategic Innovation Programme (SIP) that has been started by the government and focuses on creating the mobility systems of the future for people and goods that are sustainable, safe, and accessible to all. Drive Sweden is an ecosystem of about 150 actors from industry, society, and academia who together develop, test, and implement efficient, connected, shared, and automated transport solutions.
Drive Sweden will contribute to achieving the transport policy goals. This contributes to the development of a sustainable Sweden that is attractive to people and companies, and at the same time strengthens the Swedish export industry.
The programme is co-financed by the Swedish Energy Agency, Formas, and VINNOVA. Lindholmen Science Park is hosting the programme.
Drive Sweden's work is divided into five thematic areas that highlight different aspects of transport and mobility opportunities.
- Society planning
- Digital infrastructure
- Business models
- Policy development
- Public engagement
