Jonathan Crusoe is a researcher in information systems with a focus on open data. An area that he has studied from several different perspectives such as ecosystem, reform, idea and rhetoric. He has also paved the way for information behavior and data behavior research in the area. This research has focused on how open data as part of various artifacts can help citizens with their information needs.
Jonathan has published in leading conferences and journals in the e-government field such as EGOV-CeDEM-ePart and Government Information Quarterly. He recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in digital innovation at the University of Gothenburg and is part of research projects such as Data for All and the Urban Twin Transition Center.
