WE-TEAM: World Textile Engineering Advance Master

WE-TEAM is a two-year Erasmus Mundus Joint master’s degree (EMJMD) Program to educate the next generation of textile engineers developed in the framework of and with full support of the Erasmus program of the European Union. WE-TEAM initially started almost 20 years ago under the name of E-TEAM (European Textile Engineering Advance Master). The program is still unique in its concept and offers students an exceptional level of mobility and high-quality education.

The University of Borås has centres that are strategically important for collaboration with society at large. A centre is largely externally financed and has a clear purpose.

Organisation

The University of Borås consists of four Faculties, each with a number of departments, as well as a central Professional Services. The head of the university is Vice-Chancellor Mats Tinnsten.

Primo is a discovery tool for searching the most of the library collection - books, articles, reports, theses, databases and more.

Research Education Committees

The University of Borås currently has the right to grant doctoral degrees in the following research areas: Library and Information Science, the Human Perspective in Care, Resource Recovery, Textiles and Fashion, and Textiles and Fashion – artistic area. These research areas fall under the Research and Education Board (Forsknings- och utbildningsnämnden or FoU in Swedish) and the Artistic Research and Education Board (Nämnden för konstnärlig forskning och utbildning or KFU in Swedish.
