Fair and legally certain examinations

it is important that both students and teachers are familiar with the guidelines that the University of Borås has. That’s why it’s important that we regularly provide information about them. Faculty leadership or equivalent are responsible for ensuring that students, teachers, and administrative staff are familiar with the "Guidelines for fair and legally certain examination."

Plagiarism

Cheating means, for example, unauthorised collaboration or cheating through hidden written notes and mobile phones. It also means plagiarism, which is the most common form of cheating. Plagiarism means that someone submits someone else's work as their own.

Research and Education Board

The Research and Education Board (or FoU for its Swedish name, Forsknings- och utbildningsnämnden) has the overall responsibility for promoting research and doctoral education and for ensuring that educational programmes at the Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral levels rests on a scientific basis.

Education Committees

At the University of Borås, collegially elected committees are responsible for reviewing the structure and quality of the university’s educational programmes. Those responsible for planning, implementation, and follow-up of the educational programmes are the Vice-Chancellor and the managers or other responsible persons who have been appointed at the university. The organisation of the boards, which includes the education committees, has the task of reviewing the work of the organisation, as appropriate.
