Alumnus of the Year 2021 – Mattias Henriksson

He became neither a professional footballer nor a star chef. Mattias Henriksson instead found his calling as a teacher in a school leisure-time centre (fritidshem in Swedish, where pupils can spend time before or after regular school hours) in Hillerstorp, Småland, in the school where he himself was once a pupil. Today, his mission is to highlight the positive things about the activities in school leisure-time centres and the colleagues and children who spend time there. Mattias is Alumnus of the Year at the University of Borås.
