A fantastic machine park and the opportunity to create her own materials on site: these were two of the reasons why Alice Gruvander chose the Swedish School of Textiles and its Fashion Design programme. In the future, she wants to work with design, clothing, and business--in a sustainable way.

From textile design to print designer

Ida Linde chose to study Textile Design because the education provides a good foundation in textile materials and design and provides the opportunity to work in many different industries.

Tuition fees

Fashion Design and Textile Design

We offer artistic course packages in both fashion design and textile design. Fashion design reflects societal behaviors and lifestyles by creating functional and expressive clothing and accessories, influencing activities from sports to work. Meanwhile, textile design focuses on innovating with textile materials and construction techniques, using the latest research in materials and sustainability to experiment and develop new uses for textiles.
