Involve the staff and the older people themselves in developing the care of older people, and support first-line managers. These are some of the results of a four-year research project funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation. “Both the power and the knowledge are present in the organisation as well as in the older people themselves, and it is important for the management to make the most of this,” said Maria Wolmesjö, Project Leader and Associate Professor of Social Work at the University of Borås.
