International projects

At the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education and IT, several international projects are managed, ranging from research to competence building together with international partners. While pure research projects can be found elsewhere on the university web, below we wish to share samples of on-going international projects, that all contribute to the strategy and aims of the University of Borås.

Sida financed projects

Within the framework of the Sida Research Training Partnership Programme, the faculty is part of two bilateral cooperations, that will be three from July 2017. Sida is the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.

Linneaus-Palme

The Linneaus-Palme programme encourages and supports long term and reciprocal cooperation with universities in low- and middle income countries. One central idea is that the integration of global perspectives into education, contributes to its quality.

Strategiskt partnerskap EINFOSE

The Swedish School of Library and Information Sciences is part of an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership Programme focusing, together with key partners, on knowledge and competences in information science.The partnership organises summer schools.
