IT is tasked with supporting the business in specific IT assignments as well as in its digitization issues regarding IT systems.
The IT manager has specific responsibility for creating systematics and a comprehensive view within the university regarding information security.
Within the department there is a Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) whose task is to handle IT-related security incidents and work preventively with the university's IT system.
On behalf of the KronoX consortium, the department is responsible for development and maintenance of the schedule and venue booking system KronoX.
