Those of you who have an idea regarding how the textile environment at the University of Borås can be developed are welcome to apply.
Applications are normally made twice a year, on 31 October and 30 April. The projects can run over several years and the foundation's initial goal is to distribute up to SEK 5 million per year.
The first step in the application process is to briefly describe the intended project in accordance with a template (download and fill in the form below).
The application is processed in a first step by the steering group for the project "Increased international visibility of the textile environment at the University of Borås". There, an initial assessment is made of the relevance to the university and a decision is made on which applications are then sent to the Paul Frankenius Foundation for the Swedish University of Fashion and Textiles for assessment. The projects should not include what can be considered ordinary activities.
Two examples of projects that have previously been granted funding are:
- Development of clothing for UN guides at the headquarters in New York
- Participation in textile events together with Swedish embassies and consulates around the world
