Sustainable and accessible events
Accessible events
University events should be accessible to all, including people with disabilities, so that they can participate and contribute on equal terms. The Swedish Agency for Participation (MFD) has compiled a checklist for accessible meetings and conferences. The checklist provides you with basic advice and tips on accessibility, thus increasing the chances of creating events where everyone can participate and contribute.

Sustainable events
The university's procedure for sustainable events (M28) is intended to support the implementation of sustainable events and supports the university's work with Agenda 2030, global goal 12 -- sustainable consumption and production.
We are to strive to reduce our ecological footprint, influence and inspire participants to make sustainable choices, and communicate the university's goals and policies for sustainable development and a sustainable campus.
The following are requirements for events at the university:
- Certified and Fairtrade coffee must be used (decision Reg. no. 836-10-91) or other brands on the market with an equivalent level of requirements.
- Preference should be given to vegetarian dishes. If animal-based dishes are chosen, this choice must be justified. There should still be a vegetarian option.
- Waste must be sorted according to the university's waste routine M16.
