Guest apartment

Schools and units within the university can make an inquiry for the university’s apartments for visiting guests.

Who is allowed to rent?

Foreign students in exchange programs with other countries
Guest researchers at the university (provided that they do not have employment at the university)

Please note that the guest is not allowed to be employed by the University of Borås. If the guest receives compensation that is paid out through Primula/HR, the compensation is comparable with salary. Then the guest are not allowed to live in the apartments.

The apartments

The apartments are furnished, equipped with kitchenware, linens and towels and the final cleaning is included in the price. Smoking is not allowed in the apartments.

Please note that guests must not be employed at the University of Borås.

If your guest need an access tag and will be at the university for more than a week? Order an hourly account from it@hb.se. Should your guest stay for less than a week, please let us know under Other requests (free text).

Also notify if your guest has access to Wi-Fi network eduroam or not.

Processing of personal data

Information that you provide through the form will be processed by the university staff that manages the rental of facilities. This is in order to prepare, administer and complete the rental agreement. The University of Borås is the controller of the processing, and the legal basis for the processing is the rental agreement (article 6.1 (b) GDPR). A copy of the rental agreement will be saved in the university's archives.

It is your responsibility to make sure that you are allowed to provide the information about your guest for the described processing.
