The Research Education Committee (FUU), or KFU, is responsible for the selection of applicants. When the application period has expired, all applications are sent from the Registrar’s Office to the university's Admissions Office, where a review of basic eligibility takes place. Eligible candidates are ranked by FUU/KFU according to merit. The relevant board/committee calls the candidates who appear to be most suitable for interview. How many are called varies from case to case; however, at least two candidates must be called if two or more are available as applicants for the doctoral studentship position.
Decisions in regards to admissions cannot be appealed.
