Welcome to Portfolio & Graphic Design: AX1GD1
This course is for those who are considering applying for an education or a job and need to put together a portfolio. In the course, we will cover the basics of Visual Communication, focusing on how we communicate with each other through text and images. To effectively handle these two elements, which together form the foundation of our communication, knowledge of relevant tools is needed. The tools we will primarily work with in the course are Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat. To get the most out of the course, you will need access to these programs.
Additionally, the course includes numerous tutorials (which you book yourself). Participation in these tutorials is voluntary but highly recommended, as they offer an opportunity to receive feedback on your work. If you get stuck or feel you have nothing to show, it’s even more important to seek guidance and help to move forward.
The course is conducted remotely, and the lectures will be recorded so that those who wish can watch them later.
Again – welcome to the course
Best regards,
Thorbjörn Magnusson – Course manager and examiner

How to find your schedule
Schedule in KronoX
You can find your schedule, including locations, in the digital schedule tool KronoX. Please note that changes to the schedule can take place at short notice. Therefore, make a habit of checking the schedule in KronoX regularly.
The learning platform Canvas
On the New Student website, you can find a lot of good information, including about the learning platform, Canvas, which you get access to after you register and create your student account.
