Note

The course has 5 mandatory meetings on campus that consists of 4 labs and 1 exam. The labs take place during the same week.
Motivation Letter
The motivation letter should be a maximum of 1 page (approximately 400–500 words) and uploaded as a supplement on antagning.se. It should be well-structured and clearly formulated, focusing on relevant experiences and motivation. To ensure a dynamic and knowledge-balanced study group for lab work, the motivation letter attached to the application should meet the following criteria:

1. Motivation and Interest in the Course

  • Describe why you want to participate in the course and how it relates to your previous studies, professional experiences, or future goals.
  • Explain what specific knowledge you hope to gain through the course.

2. Relevant Background and Experience

  • Provide details of previous education or practical experience in textile technology or related fields.
  • If your background differs from the traditional textile technology education path, describe how your experiences still make you suitable for the course.

3. Expected Study Effort and Commitment

  • Describe how you plan to master the course content and how you intend to manage both theoretical and practical elements.
  • Give examples of previous studies or work experiences where you have demonstrated the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your learning.

4. Contribution to a Dynamic Study Group

  • In the course, you may collaborate with master's level programme students. Reflect on how your background, perspectives, or skills can contribute to a diverse and stimulating learning environment.
  • If you have experience in interdisciplinary or international collaboration, highlight this and how it can enrich the group's collective learning.

The course is taken together with program students.
