Welcome to the course Student Managed Design Project B, which starts on 3 June.
In the course you decide yourself on the project you want to conduct. The project should be within the context of design. Your project is student managed which means that you will work independently.
You should already have identified the main direction for your project, at the very start of the course.
At the introduction of the course on Wednesday 5 June, we will go through syllabus, the guidelines for project description to be handed in the following week, I will make a short presentation to tools of project management, and meet with questions.
Opportunity for supervision will be in late June and early August. The supervision is orientated rather towards your project management than the project development. We see an importance of at least one occasion of supervision before you do the examining presentation.
The learning outcome of the course will be the knowledge and abilities you develop within the project you plan and carry out, as well as knowledge and experience within independent project management.
It is required to be enrolled at a program at the Swedish School of Textiles to take this course.
Observe! You will have no accessibility to the labs or other rooms at the Swedish School of Textiles.
