What the course is about:
In this stand-alone textile overview course, you will learn the basics of industrial techniques in the area of joining techniques and an understanding of how the choice of technique is closely linked to the quality and function of a product.
Course start:
The course is given entirely as an online distance course, without meetings and without specific dates for examination. The course opens in Canvas on January 15, 2024, but you can choose when you want to start it from this date.
Course structure and implementation:
In Canvas you will see that the course is structured in modules, which means groups of smaller subject areas within the main area of assembling, where each module ends with a quiz. Then you can confirm that you have understood the content of the current module before moving on to the next module. You study and open each module at your own pace during the course period. When you've gone through all the modules, it's time to take the final exam, which also takes place online at a time that suits you best.
Literature:
The literature in the course can be downloaded online, so you do not need to buy the course book. However, it is possible to buy it in paper format if you wish. Information about the course literature can be found in the course syllabus.
