Welcome to the Textile Overview Course
What the course covers: In this standalone textile overview course, you will learn the fundamentals of industrial techniques in the field of dyeing and preparation, gaining an understanding of how the choice of technique is closely linked to the quality and function of a textile product.
Course Start: The course is entirely conducted remotely, without physical meetings and without specific examination dates. The course opens in Canvas on January 15, 2024, but you can choose to start it at your convenience from this date.
Course Structure and Implementation: In Canvas, you will find that the course is organized into modules, representing groups of smaller subject areas within the main field of dyeing and preparation. Each module concludes with a question quiz. With the quiz, you can check your understanding of the content in the current module before moving on to the next one. Please note that the next module does not open until you answer the quiz correctly. Once you have gone through all the modules, it's time to take the final examination, which also occurs online at a time that suits you best.
Literature: The course literature is available for online download, so you do not need to purchase the course book. However, there is an option to buy it in paper format if you prefer. Information about the course literature can be found in the course plan.
See you in the course!
