Student influence

For the university, students influence is important for maintaining quality at the university.

The right for students to be represented in organisations that directly or indirectly concern students is enshrined in the law.

  • Students have the opportunity to be represented in all the university's decision-making and preparatory bodies that are important for the educational programmes and the study environment. As a member, the student representative has the right to vote in these respective decision-making bodies.
  • It is the Student Union at the university that appoints representatives.
  • Absences related to student representative tasks are accepted as valid absences from compulsory course components, provided that the lost components can be made up or that the absence is so limited in time that education is not affected.
