Dean of Faculty's Advisory Council
Deans of Faculty are to have an advisory council to give council in decision-making. Deans of Faculty determine the role, composition, and regulations around terms for this council.

Faculty Council
At each Faculty, there is to be a Faculty Council with external representation.The council is to be established by the Dean of Faculty. The council is to have an advisory function for the Faculty's strategic development in education and research, taking into account the university as a whole. The Dean of Faculty decides on the composition of the council and terms of office. However, the composition is to be similar to the Faculty Councils at the other Faculties.
- The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business meets twice per year.
- The Faculty Council of the Faculty of Caring Science, Work Life and Social Welfare meets twice per term.

Programme Council
Programme Council (3 student representatives)
The purpose of Programme Councils is to ensure the quality of educational programmes’ relevance, with a special focus on professional and research connections for the Faculties' educational programmes, by offering a forum where external and internal stakeholders meet to discuss strategic education issues.

At the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education and IT, there are the following programme councils:
- Programme Council for Library and Information Science (in this council there is the possibility of four student representatives, of which at least two from the Bachelor's programme and one from each Master's programme)
- Programme Council for Information Architecture
- Programme Council for Information Management
- Programme Council for Pre-School Teacher Education
- Programme Council for Master's in Educational Work
- Programme Council for Masters’ of Literature Pedagogy
At the Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business, there are the following programme councils:
- Programme Council for Education in Textile Engineering
- Programme Council for Education in Engineering
- Programme Council for Education in Textile Design
- Programme Council for Education in Fashion Design
- Programme Council for Master’s in Digital Business Management
- Programme Council for Education in Economics and Business Administration
- Programme Council for Retail Education with Specialisation in Textile and Fashion
- Programme Council for Textile Product Development and Entrepreneurship
- Programme Council for Design Technician Programme (currently not active)
At the Faculty of Caring Science, Work Life and Social Welfare, there are the following programme councils:
- Programme Council for Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Programme Council for Postgraduate Programme in Midwifery
- Programme Council for Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Prehospital Emergency Care, Emergency Care, as well as the Master Programme in Caring Sciences in Pre-hospital and In-hospital Emergency Care
- Programme Council for Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Anaesthesia Care and Specialisation in Intensive Care
- Programme Council for Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Primary Health Care and Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Paediatric Care and Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Elderly Care
- Programme Council for Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Mental Health Care
- Programme Council for Bachelor Programme in Public Administration
- Program advice for organizational and personnel developers in society (OPUS) and master's education with a focus on work science for Studies in Organizational and Human Resource Development as well as Master of Arts with a major in Work Life Science
- Programme Council for programmes in organisation, leadership, and administration in health and social care sector
Research Council
Research Councils at the Faculties aim to create a strategic forum where the Faculty's management and representatives of research within the Faculty meet and ensure that this forum is systematically included in the university's quality system for research.
