The university

At the University of Borås, we strive to be an attractive higher education institution that maintains high quality in all we do. The University of Borås has approximately 19,000 students and over 800 employees. In collaboration with the business community and the public sector, we conduct education and research of high international quality and with great relevance to society. We are a modern university with a centralised campus in the middle of the city.

Education

Several of our educational programmes are only available at our institution and therefore attract students from all over Sweden. The university offers educational programmes at the bachelor’s and master’s levels within:

We are entitled to award doctoral degrees within four of these areas; Library and Information Science, Resource Recovery, Textiles and Fashion (design and general) and The Human Perspective in Care.
